Donating Stocks

Thank you for your generosity!

To make a direct donation of stocks or equities:

1. Please begin this process by notifying ��ɫ�� of your gift.

We do not automatically receive donor information, so in order to provide you with a tax-deductible statement, we need to match your information with the incoming gift. Please send an email to An-Ti Wang at awang@nbccbayarea.com with the following information:

Your name and mailing address
The name and ticker symbol of the security
The number of shares
The purpose of your gift, if any, beyond a general contribution to ��ɫ��

2. Contact your broker and instruct them to transfer your gift via DTC to our account at Fidelity Investments.

To give via a Donor Advised Fund:

Initiate a gift via your donor advised fund using ��ɫ��’s Tax ID Number: 46-4868006.
If you are giving for a specific purpose (capital campaign, etc.) make sure you make that designation when you make the gift.
You will receive a confirmation from ��ɫ�� when the gift is received.

To give via a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an IRA:

Ensure you meet the age requirement (as of 2024, the age requirement is 70.5 years old).
Contact your IRA trustee and ensure the designation of the purpose of the gift (capital campaign, general fund, etc.): The trustee will make the direct transfer of funds from your IRA to ��ɫ��. You can share ��ɫ��’s Tax ID number: 46-4868006.
You'll receive a Form 1099-R from your IRA administrator, which you'll need to report on your federal income tax return.
You'll receive a receipt from ��ɫ�� to confirm the donation and substantiate your tax benefit.
