In this final installment of the Coming Home series, Pastor Hurmon focuses on the older brother in the parable of the prodigal son. The older brother represents the religious leaders, but the Father’s words to him can also apply to all who struggle with perfectionism. The Father speaks gently to the older brother, a hard-working perfectionist, and invites him into his house of grace. Pastor Hurmon closes his message with a reminder that we are all invited into God’s grace, like the younger brother, regardless of the poor choices we may have made.
