I鈥檓 always stunned by how God shapes the messages I share each Sunday. My latest message series, From Trauma to Triumph, is another clear testament to His power. The series is already having a positive impact on individuals, families, and communities and, as I like to say, it鈥檚 truly been 鈥渁 God thing.鈥 The fact is everyone of us has been impacted by trauma.
During this series, we鈥檝e discussed the challenges trauma can have on our mental, physical, and spiritual well-being and how, if it鈥檚 not recognized or addressed, it can wreak havoc on our lives. We鈥檝e also talked about the importance of having a deepening relationship with God and support systems like a community of friends, family, and therapists.
It was awesome to see people praying for, caring for, and encouraging each other this past Sunday. Because unaddressed trauma can haunt us all, acknowledging and processing it is critical to healing and leading healthy lives. Only by moving towards healing can we go from trauma to triumph. But like I said in my recent message, trauma is a journey. Healing is a life-long process.
Many have movingly shared the impact this particular series has had on them. But what if you have questions about this sensitive topic that you鈥檇 like expanded answers to?
I鈥檓 so glad you asked!
We鈥檙e rolling out Ask Me Anything (AMA) to provide a safe forum to unpack questions that you and our community might have around the weekly message and issues related to trauma. The AMA will be on Tuesday, July 16th and I encourage you to participate. If you can鈥檛 make it next Tuesday, feel free to drop your questions in the comments below.
God led me to speak to this topic, one rarely addressed in a church setting, to help people move forward in a positive direction when dealing with trauma in their lives. I invite you to join me for the AMA next Tuesday as we go deeper. In the meantime, remember
you are worthy of a healthy life filled with love and blessings. Don鈥檛 let trauma seduce you into believing otherwise.
Please take a moment to share this message with others who are on your heart to encourage and if you haven鈥檛 yet heard the message series, From Trauma to Triumph, I encourage you to watch this past week鈥檚 message , the series here or plan a visit to join us in person or online.
